Practical tips before wallpaper installation
Remember the wall must be:
- Free from defects
- Degreased
- Primed
- Dry
- Free from dust and dirt
- In the case of walls in wet areas, the wall should be covered with waterproofing

#1
The wallpaper is prepared with an allowance of 5cm / 2in.
If your wallpaper has been prepared for a custom size, we have enlarged it by 2.5cm / 1in on each side to ensure complete coverage of every edge of the wall and to avoid any discrepancies, caused by wall unevenness or measurement errors.

#2
Check the type of material and the joining of the wallpaper panels.
Before applying the wallpaper, check the material's compliance with the order as well as the joining of the strips and the color scheme. If the wallpaper has manufacturing defects, submit a complaint before starting the installation. Wallpapers with manufacturing defects are not subject to complaints after installation has been completed.
AFTER INSTALLING THE WALLPAPER, THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY OF CLAIMING MANUFACTURING DEFECTS!

#3
Cleaning Wallpaper
Unprotected wallpapers with the WET system should be wiped with a damp cloth, never scrubbed, and aggressive detergents should not be used. Once secured with the WET system, the wallpaper gains resistance to more intensive cleaning.

#4
Connecting several walls
The wallpaper is not tailored to individual walls; typically, the wallpaper is divided into equal strips. The excess on the left side is 2.5cm / 1in, and the excess on the right side is no less than 2.5cm / 1in, determined individually.

how to stick wallpaper
Before starting the installation, make sure that the wall is properly prepared – smooth, clean, dry, and primed. The color should be uniform, and fresh plasters or paints must dry for at least 3 weeks.
Below you will find the installation instructions for two types of wallpapers: PROWALL (non-woven wallpaper for glue) and WALLSTICK (self-adhesive wallpaper).

Step 1
WALL PREPARATION (for both types)
The wall must be smooth, dry, clean, and primed with an appropriate preparation. The wall color should be uniform, without strongly contrasting areas. It is necessary to remove any remnants of old paints, varnishes, and wallpapers. Freshly applied plasters or freshly painted walls should be left to dry for about three weeks. Ceramic, latex paints, and any poorly adhering surfaces should be sanded before priming the wall. To achieve the perfect effect, eliminate all imperfections. Remember to remove all sockets, baseboards, and other elements from the wall. An improperly prepared wall may prevent the correct installation of wallpaper.

Step 2
Plan the wallpaper on the wall (for both types)
To accurately install the wallpaper, measure and draw a vertical line on the wall or mark the line using a laser level. The line marked on the wall should correspond to the width of the first strip of your wallpaper. Remember that the wallpaper has a 2.5cm / 1in allowance on each side, and wallpapering always starts from the left side, so the line indicating the width of the first strip should be shifted to the left by 2.5cm / 1in.

Step 3
Applying glue to the wall (ONLY PROWALL SERIES)
Glue is applied only to the wall. For wallpaper installation, use ready-made glue designed for heavy non-woven wallpapers. Apply a thin, even layer of glue to the wall using a paint roller or brush. The glue should be applied to the wall only in the area where the current strip is being glued, extending about 5cm / 2in beyond the strip area, do not cover the entire wall with glue at once.

Step 4
Wallpaper Installation
PROWALL (glue wallpaper):
Unroll the wallpaper from bottom to top and press it against the wall with a smoothing tool or roller, removing air. Install each subsequent strip using the edge to edge method, carefully matching the pattern. After sticking, press the edges with a rubber roller. If you get glue on the wallpaper during installation, immediately wipe it off with a damp, soft cloth without scrubbing.
WALLSTICK (self-adhesive wallpaper):
Gradually separate the backing from the adhesive layer, unrolling the wallpaper from top to bottom. Press it down with a smoothing tool, removing air from beneath the surface. Adhere the next strips edge to edge, matching the pattern.
Excess wallpaper (waste) should be cut off with a utility knife after installation, pressing the edge of the wallpaper to avoid tearing it while cutting.
