Wallcolors training at Omorfia Kraków — wallpapers in the work of an architect
Wallcolors Training at Omorfia Kraków
Kraków welcomed us exceptionally well, and the training at the Omorfia showroom had a very relaxed, inspiring atmosphere from the first minutes. It is a place where design is truly “live” — surrounded by materials, colours and conversations that quickly get down to specifics. We met with architects and interior designers to show Wallcolors wallpapers in a practical context and to talk about real projects, not just catalogue installations.
Wallpapers in design practice
During the training we focused on how wallpapers work in a designer's everyday practice — from choosing the pattern and scale, through colour schemes, to the technical aspects of installation. There was a lot of discussion about how wallpaper changes the proportions of a room, how to work with a bold pattern in smaller spaces, and how to combine wallpapers with other materials that often appear in projects carried out by Omorfia.
An atmosphere of conversation and exchange of experience
The openness of the participants was a great asset of this meeting. Questions arose about unusual installations, bold combinations and projects in which wallpaper plays the leading role. The discussions naturally intertwined with browsing sample books and samples, and many conversations turned to very specific cases from professional practice. This is exactly the moment when you can see how theory meets reality.
A showroom that encourages focus
Omorfia Kraków is a space that is conducive to meetings like this — intimate, aesthetic and well organised. Working at a shared table, being able to look through the materials calmly and talk without rushing gave the training a very natural rhythm. No pressure, no rigid script, but plenty of inspiration.
Summary of the meeting
This training once again showed us how important direct meetings with designers and architects are. Every event like this is not only a product presentation, but also an exchange of knowledge, an observation of trends and a better understanding of market needs. The meeting in Kraków at Omorfia will definitely stay with us for a long time, and we are already looking forward to more conversations like these.
