Wallcolors training at the Walldecor showroom in Warsaw – wallpapers in practice and relaxed conversations
The Wallcolors training session in the Walldecor showroom in Warsaw was another meeting that confirmed to us that the best conversations about wallpaper happen in person, surrounded by patterns, samples and real-life projects. It was informative, inspiring and very human – exactly the way we like it best.
During the training at Walldecor, we focused on a practical approach to working with Wallcolors wallpapers. Participants could see our patterns up close, compare textures, colours and the scale of the motifs, and above all talk about how wallpaper behaves in specific interiors. There was no stiff presentation or academic tone. Instead, we had questions from everyday design work, conversations about real-life challenges and a shared search for the best solutions.
We devoted a lot of attention to choosing wallpapers for different spaces – from private homes to commercial interiors. We talked about how to work with a bold pattern, how to combine wallpapers with other materials and how to consciously build an interior's atmosphere without an overwhelming effect. Another important topic was the technical side of wallpapers, namely the materials, wall preparation and details that make an enormous difference in practice.
The atmosphere of the Walldecor showroom encouraged relaxed conversations and the exchange of experiences. Working with large pattern books, the freedom to browse the collections and time for individual questions gave the training a very hands-on, workshop-like character. It is precisely such meetings that show how important direct contact and space for conversation are, rather than just a quick product presentation.
